Assignment #1: Fact File Timeline and more Your first assignment is to examine at least four web sites and create a Fact File which lists Date of Birth and Death Major contribution to our understanding of the atom Date of the accomplishments from point #2 Other interesting information relating to the topic for each of the following scientists - Democritus Lavoisier John Dalton. J.J.Thompson Ernst Rutherford Robert Millikan Niels Bohr James Chadwick Louis de Broglie You are then to create a timeline using two pieces of 11 x 17 inch paper that will place these scientists in their correct chronological order. To accommodate the wide span of time between Demotricus and the rest of the group a broken line may be used to connect him. Next you are to complete at least two of the following products for one of the above scientists. Create a birth and or death certificate appropriate for the time. Create a Resume for the scientist as if he was about to apply for a job. Design a commemorative stamp or coin that illustrates the scientist's accomplishments and would be issued by his native country.
